What private-label footwear means

Your brand, our shoes, a Spanish factory.

Private-label footwear is a sourcing model in which the manufacturer sells you shoes it has already designed, built on the last and sampled — and you put your own brand on them. MSA Shoes represents Spanish factories specialised in comfort, barefoot and BIOS sandals. You choose from more than 600 production-ready models, and we handle the selection, the sampling and the delivery.

Why brands prefer us to a direct factory deal

A single factory will only ever show you what it makes itself. We work with several workshops, which lets us quickly match a buyer's specification against a broad range of lasts, constructions and price levels — without you having to tour six factories.

We also speak your language, literally. French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish, in-house. Our sales team has been placing orders between European distributors and Spanish workshops since 1998, so the translation is both linguistic and industrial.

Who it is for

DTC brands launching a comfort or barefoot line without wanting to run a development studio. Retail chains rounding out their own-brand range at precise price tiers. Importers looking for a European, EU-compliant alternative to Chinese or Vietnamese production. Orthopaedic and wellness specialists who need CE-marked anatomical sandals with fast reorder cycles.

We are not the right partner for fast-fashion dress shoes or performance trainers. We are entirely the right one if your customer is after comfort, a removable insole and the words « Made in Spain » on the inner sole.

Three ways to run private label with us.

Whether you want to move fast from a ready-to-use catalogue or sit down with our development team for a whole-season project, the commercial backbone stays the same — one contract, one sales file, one schedule.

01 / Rebadge

Choose, brand, ship.

Take one of our sampled models as it stands. Add your logo to the inner sole, your label, your box. First production within 60 days from the purchase order. This is where most of our new clients begin.

02 / Adaptation

Same last, your upper.

Use our proven lasts and soles — change the materials, the colours, the stitching, the trims, the linings. We open the tech pack and run a round of confirmation samples before production.

03 / Full specification

Bring your own design.

You send the sketches, the fit specifications and the target cost. We find the right factory, drive the last development, follow the sampling schedule and deliver in line with your critical path. See Custom Development for the full process.

From brief to first delivery.

Usual timeline for a rebadge-only private-label order: 8 to 10 weeks from the signed request to the goods arriving at your warehouse. Custom development adds 4 to 6 weeks for last work and sampling.

Week 0

Scoping call

Kick-off over video. We qualify the volumes, target prices, seasonality, markets and the brand positioning you have to respect.

Week 1

Tailored selection

We send you a tailored selection — visuals, tech sheets, FOB prices, MOQs and lead times for the 20 to 40 models matching your brief. You draw up your shortlist.

Weeks 2–3

Samples

Confirmation samples shipped out. You check the fit, verify the materials and validate the specifications. One round of adjustments is included.

Week 4

Orders and production

Purchase order placed. Production scheduled. Followed by our team: schedule updates, photos from the production line.

Private-label FAQ

The questions buyers ask before they sign.

If your question is not listed here, the answer is almost always « yes, let's talk it through » — drop us a line.

How long does a private-label order take?

8 to 10 weeks from the signed purchase order to ex-factory for catalogue models. Add 2 to 4 weeks upfront if you need custom development (new last, new upper). Sampling on its own takes 21 days.

Do you require exclusivity on the models?

No. Catalogue models are shared between our clients, but we assign them by region — we don't sell the same model to two brands targeting the same retail channel in the same country. For full exclusivity, we develop an adapted or bespoke version for you.

Do you ship outside the European Union?

Yes. We ship to more than 20 countries. Our preferred Incoterm is EX-Factory. On request, the factories provide EUR1 certificates of origin, REACH compliance documents and country-specific labelling (e.g. California Prop 65, UKCA marking).

Can we visit a factory?

Yes, and we recommend it. We welcome serious prospects into our partner workshops in Elche and the province of Alicante. Book a one- or two-day visit through our contact page; we arrange the transport and the translation.
